C.S.C. is also offering a Lifeguard RE-Certificate Course!

We have had an overwhelming response for these programs and limited class space. Applicants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis as we receive mailed registration forms and payment.
 

Lifeguard RE-Certificate Training Program
Monday, June 16    2:30-6:30
Tuesday, June 17   9:00-5:30
Wednesday, June 18    9:00-5:30

RE-CERTIFICATION - To be eligible to participate in this lifeguarding review course, participants must have successfully completed an American Red Cross Lifeguarding program with-in the last 4 years and a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer within the last 2 years. Proof of this training can be verified by showing your Lifeguarding and CPR/AED Pro-Rescuer certificate. And pass a Prerequisite Skill Test. This course will re-certify lifeguard with the new updated lifeguarding skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies.

Lifeguard Certificate Training Program

The primary purpose of the Red Cross lifeguarding program is to provide the entry lifeguarding participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to emergencies and to provide the care for injuries and sudden illnesses in and around the water until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive and take over. This course is design for those planning on working in an indoor or outdoor pool environment. Additional training is required for waterfront certification.

Water Safety Instructor Training Program
If you enjoy swimming and working with children, become a Certified Water Safety Instructor. The purpose of this course is to train instructor candidates to teach water safety, including the Basic Water Rescue course, six levels of Learn to Swim and Parent and Child Aquatics.
