COHASSET MASTERS SUMMER SWIM TEAM
WHAT: Start an amazing morning routine and swim outdoors at Cohasset’s beautiful 6-lane 25 yard pool. Coach Bill Burnett took the program over in 2023 and the team sold out with 38 registered swimmers. Whether you are a first-time Masters swimmer or a former collegiate swimmer, our priority is to assure that each swimmer gets a great workout in!

WHEN: JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2024
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning. 6:00 AM – 7:15 AM (swimmers are allowed to leave at 7 AM if necessary)
QUALIFYING STANDARDS:
For athletes ages 18 year old and higher. All swimmers need to be able to swim 100 yards (4 lengths) freestyle in 1:50 seconds or faster.
PRACTICE DETAILS:
We’ll begin with a standard warm-up set and then get into two or three specialized sets that will help improve your overall fitness in the water. Typical yardage per practice will average 3000 yards. No dry-lands. No drills. Just swim!
ABOUT BILL BURNETT
Bill takes the reigns as Coach of the Program from long-time leader and founder of the program of Jim Zotz. Bill is a DIII All-American (Ohio Wesleyan University) and Coach of the Cohasset High School Swim Team. Bill is the Founder of the Cohasset Triathlon.
COST:
FULL SEASON = $250 (20 practices)
HALF SEASON = $175 (10 practices)
**NOTE: This is not included in the CSC Summer Membership Fee
